Melbourne
is the Australian home of trams. The city has a large network and a
large number of modern and heritage trams. The network is now
privately owned, the two operators being Swanston Trams and Yarra Trams.Trams
on this page were pictured at seaside St Kilda on 8 November 1999 unless
